Purpose of the role: 

• Overall responsibility for developing sales and adoption of business solutions at the regional level.

• Run and be responsible for the management of M-Pesa regional services ie training and business support.

• Manage the client's M-Pesa Business regional projects. 

• Monitor the Regional performance of the M-Pesa Business and sell various M-Pesa products.


Key Responsibilities: 

• Overall responsibility for running regional M-Pesa Business accounts.

• Manage service delivery for regional accounts and sell other M-Pesa products.

• Accelerating regional performance and revenue growth initiatives.

• Manage M-Pesa Business new and existing projects for regional clients.  

• Initiate and complete new training and retraining for regional business accounts.

• Responsible for the reactivation of outstanding regional business accounts, controls and restrictions.  

• Working closely with the sales champion team to identify potential new areas of growth.


Basic skills, knowledge and experience:

• Strong Business Acumen & project management skills. 

• Strong Marketing and negotiation skills. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Being able to challenge the status quo.


You must have technical/professional qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience industry or executive experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Marketing or equivalent qualification.

• Analytical skills.

• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the value chain.

• Telecom experience will be beneficial.

• Project knowledge and experience will be beneficial.


Key performance indicators:

• Sales Growth and Business Acquisition.

• End to end the implementation of the M-Pesa proposal for businesses acquired from the regions.

• Quality support and stakeholder alignment.
